Because gengar is so cute and fuzzy wuzzy! (B This is a shiny gengar btw! This picture is actually old, I just finished it today. It's supposed to be shrunk but I like it big now. Ghost pokemon have always been a fav of mine. They look like they have so much fun with their supernatural powers.  If I was a pokemon I might be a gengar. One who likes to play, tease, and joke around. Pokedex Entries: -Appears to attack people who get lost in the mountains. Said to be the culprit behind shadows that laugh in the moonlight. -Hiding in people's shadows at night, it absorbs their heat. The chill it causes makes the victims shake. -Sometimes, on a dark night, your shadow thrown by a streetlight will suddenly and startlingly overtake you. It is actually a Gengar running past you, pretending to be your shadow. -It is said to emerge from darkness to steal the lives of those who become lost in mountains. Ghosts seem to be all different in their personalities. You got your protectors, tricksters, the friendly, guys who just think scaring is fun, kidnappers, and vengeful spirits. So you shouldn't judge a ghost pokemon by it's outward appearance, just like with any other pokemon. Just know if they're P.O.'d.
